Development Alliance Location Factors Information System
Welcome to the Development Alliance Location Factors Information System (DALFIS).
You can use DALFIS to find up-to-date site selection information about every U.S. state, county, metro area and micropolitan quickly and easily.
Most of the information is current as of 2008 and comes from proprietary sources as well as from the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Department of Labor.
To begin your search, click on the Location Search Menu button in the upper left.
The menu opens and asks you to select the Area Type and the State that you need data for.
If you have chosen an Area Type other than State, an additional selection box will appear which allows you to select the county, metro area or micropolitan that interests you.
Click on the 'Submit' button and population and household data for the selected area will immediately appear on the right side of the screen.
To view additional data, select from the menu bar which appears on the left side of the screen. |
